An exciting new way to display artwork! My “wearable paintings” so far have been done as necklaces, corset-like bodices, a few dresses, and this garter belt. I really like the garter belt idea so I think I’ll make more, with different types of designs. I specialize in “wearable paintings”, and various other sorts of unique costumes + artwork. Check out the links below for pictures of existing costumes for sale, and for details on how to order a unique costume CUSTOM MADE just for you:

One of my newest Wearable Paintings is now up for sale in my shop! I love the vibrant turquoise and deep reds in this one, and it reminds me of a burlesque performer. Click on the image to see more details about the bodice. The model, makeup artist, and photographer for this fashion shoot were all amazing and I give them credit at the bottom.

The “wearable painting” gallery photo shoot I did last weekend was AMAZING and I can’t wait to share photos with you!! I have a shoot today also, with a purple-haired pregnant woman, which will be more laid-back, but hopefully just as awesome! But now I want to talk about my future plans for my floor-length sleeves

Many many years ago, when I first started doing runway shows, I was really into the idea of making shirts with long sleeves that went all the way down to your toes. It was kind of inspired by kimono dresses, or little girls playing dress-up in their mom’s clothes (wearing clothes that are too large). Since those very beginning years, I’ve stopped making them except for custom-orders, but recently I’ve been feeling the urge to make new ones– more adventurous ones– and doing a MOVEMENT photo shoot with dancers! Maybe belly dancers and/or fire + poi jugglers (so they have those crazy arm-twirling skillz).

Oh it will be glorious! I’ve started rounding up the people I want to be involved in this project, but it will have to wait until I come back from my road trip. In the mean-time, I will be doing some random unscheduled photo shoots on the road with interesting people I find along the way…

This half-shirt jacket has floor-length sleeves which were designed to put LED lights at the ends for glowing poi-like twirling action! The middle of the sleeves have thumb/finger holes because the bottom of the sleeves are closed. This shirt was custom-made for a specific customer, but you can order something similar or

This is still one of my favorite pictures from the Florida fashion shows. Lovely contortionist and belly dancer Azeeria, who can be seen showing off those awesome dance moves here, was not yet even 18 at this show– but she had amazing stage presence and acted very professionally! Here is a picture of her modeling some rainbow pantaloons, which I recently decided to put up for sale here.
