Some of my sexier “wearable paintings” will be featured in a NC fashion show in April. See banner for details. Click here to view the Facebook page for the event. And click here to view more of my artwork.

An exciting new way to display artwork! My “wearable paintings” so far have been done as necklaces, corset-like bodices, a few dresses, and this garter belt. I really like the garter belt idea so I think I’ll make more, with different types of designs. One of my newest Wearable Paintings is now up for sale in my shop! I love the vibrant turquoise and deep reds in this one, and it reminds me of a burlesque performer. Click on the image to see more details about the bodice. The model, makeup artist, and photographer for this fashion shoot were all amazing and I give them credit at the bottom.

I am very pleased with the recent fashion photo shoot I did with Black Horse Studio Photography at Gateway Gallery in Winston Salem. The models, Asrai and Heather, were both amazing! Not to mention Christine Geiger, who did the AWESOME hair + makeup for the shoot. I’d been wanting to do something like this for a while, with my “wearable paintings” in a gallery space, and the models holding up picture frames like they are artwork on display. Here are just 2 of my favorites from the shoot:

Here I am, cheating on my livejournal with a sexier, younger blog. And what better way to break in my new blog than with POST-APOCALYPTIC LINGERIE? Here is one of my most recent “wearable paintings”, depicting two women in a loving embrace, surrounded by the gilded gears of some futuristic-looking love machine.
